Director

Blair Williams

Blair Williams is a distinguished writer, creative placemaker, and entrepreneurial leader based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with over 30 years of experience in public relations, arts administration, and community development. Since 2014, she has owned The Art Spirit Gallery, a vital hub for contemporary art that supports regional artists and promotes diverse cultural expression.

Blair's expertise in creative placemaking is highlighted by her previous role as President of Urban Mountain Development, where she revitalized historic properties in Helena, Montana, earning accolades from the Montana Department of Historic Preservation. Her career also includes founding Big Fish PR, where she worked with prominent clients, and serving as a commissioner for the Idaho Commission on the Arts and on the board of the Idaho Humanities Council.

An advocate for public arts and community engagement, Blair holds a Certificate in Creative Placemaking and consults on revitalizing urban spaces and fostering economic opportunities through the arts. She is a sought-after speaker and consultant, sharing her knowledge on placemaking and the arts' role in community building.
